What you will learn
- Write a requirement from the server maker's liquid cooling specification before you contact a vendor.
- Treat a listing as a record, not an endorsement, and check each claim at the primary source.
- Check a quoted coolant flow against heat = mass flow x specific heat x temperature rise.
- Ask about the coolant, the wetted materials and the server warranty, and ask for the answers in writing.
- Question redundancy, switchover, fault domain, service and data rights, and score vendors on the same criteria.

Questions
Does a listing on this site mean the vendor is approved?
No. A listing is a record, not an endorsement. The data comes from vendor websites and Overture Maps. Check each claim with the vendor, in writing.
Do I need to be an engineer to take this course?
No. You need the Foundations course or equivalent knowledge. The course teaches the questions to ask and the checks to run on a quote. It does not replace an engineer.
Does the certificate approve a vendor for my company?
No. It is a certificate of completion from this site and records that you passed the exam. It is not a licence, an accreditation or a vendor approval.
