Foundations

Free

  • Liquid cooling foundations for buyers

Learn how liquid cooling moves heat, what the CDU and the two loops do, what the ASHRAE W classes mean and how PUE and WUE are defined, so you can read a listing and ask the right questions.

    40 min, 3 lessons.

Practitioner

Membership, $499.00 a year

  • Evaluate a liquid cooling vendor before you buy

A practical method for judging a liquid cooling vendor: write your requirement, check the flow numbers in a quote, ask about coolant, materials and warranty, and question resilience, service and contract terms.

    50 min, 4 lessons.

Specialist

Membership, $499.00 a year

  • Plan a liquid cooling rollout

How to match a server specification to facility water, choose a retrofit path, run commissioning and acceptance, and measure and report PUE and WUE once a liquid cooling system is live.

    1 h, 4 lessons.

How certificates are verified

Every certificate of completion from Liquid Cooling has a verification code in the form XXXX-XXXX-XX. Its public page shows the holder, the course, the date and whether the certificate is valid, expired or revoked. The status is worked out when the page is read, so an expired or revoked certificate never shows as valid. A certificate of completion is not a license or an accreditation.

Questions

What does the Academy cost?
